Founder, Brand & Marketing Consultant

Stephanie Quek is the strategist behind Brick & Pollen. With over a decade of experience in brand and marketing leadership across Asia and now based in Vancouver, she’s helped founders grow from the ground up and supported established brands as they evolve. A natural integrator, she sits comfortably at the intersection of brand, marketing, and growth — where vision meets structure, and strategy becomes sustainable systems.

Her career spans beauty, fashion, and lifestyle, including the launch of a ready-to-wear label for the Asian Couture Federation, showcased at Paris Couture Week. At Brick & Pollen, she leads omnichannel brand and growth strategy for lifestyle brands operating in the nuanced space between mass and prestige — a niche she’s grown to specialize in over the years.

Today, Stephanie works closely with clients such as Violet Oon Singapore — a heritage culinary icon visited by global dignitaries, including Barack Obama and Justin Trudeau — and MARLO, a bespoke menswear label serving high-net-worth individuals across Asia and the Middle East. Her experience covers trade, digital, e-commerce, partnerships and operational enablement, with a deep understanding of what it takes to build and scale a brand across platforms and markets.

A former competitive swimmer and netball player, Stephanie brings the same resilience and drive to her work as she once did to sport. She’s travelled to over 60 cities across 24 countries, often seeking out local cooking classes to better understand the culture and communities behind them. These experiences shape her open, observant approach to branding — rooted in thoughtful listening, respect for nuance, and a deep belief in momentum and growth.
